Each year, the winning team from the National Competition will represent Singapore at the Enactus World Cup; competing against the national champions from different countries. This is a wonderful opportunity for Enactus students to share their Enactus stories, learn about different cultures and global issues, compete, and celebrate!
2018 World Cup took place in San Jose, birthplace of many successful start-ups. During the competition, our team competed in League 5 against the teams from Puerto Rico, Morocco, South Africa, Italy and France. We clinched 3rd place of the league - Congratulations team and we're so proud of you! Lambton College from Canada emerged as the Enactus World Cup Champion 2018 with October 6 University from Egypt taking the runner up position.
Programming included new tracks for alumni, faculty and partners as well as new interactive experiences for students: access to projects from all Enactus countries, an alumni accelerator and networking as well as a faculty symposium. This new immersion experience featured collaborative sessions for students hosted by sponsoring companies on topics ranging from the Future of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Intuit) to the Future of Mobility (Ford Motor Company) to the Future of You (Robert Half).
The competition took place in London in 2017, at ExCeL London. Over the course of three days, Enactus students were actively involved in several activities, such as the Cultural Experience, Global Goals Forum, Collaboration Sessions. In the Opening Round of the competition, the team from NUS that represented Singapore emerged 3rd place.
