The Enactus Responsible Leadership Programme (RLP) is a one-year programme for Enactus student leaders. The programme helps student leaders by raising their self-awareness of competencies for leadership development, making them more effective leaders in their role in Enactus. This year, we are honoured to have Microsoft Singapore host the launch of the 2017 RLP programme!
Our alumni, students and mentors were first welcomed with an opening presentation by Microsoft, where they shared how technology, if used well, is essential for the betterment of society. Microsoft also shared potential employment opportunities with the Enactus students. Two alumni of the RLP programme, Ming Zhou and Xin Yun, conducted an icebreaker activity to warm the participants up. Mamie and Helen (from Korn Ferry) later introduced the students and mentors to RLP framework, including the structure, expectations and benefits of enrolling in the programme.
There were interactive activities to orientate and engage the alumni, students and mentors. This included an activity which paired the group of participants randomly, and had the pair discuss what their expectations for the programme were, what they wanted to contribute or how they benefited from RLP (depending on whether they were students, mentors or alumni respectively).
This year, students will take a MBTI assessment which will be used as a starting point for the mentorship programme. A “Get to know your MBTI” session will be held next month for the students.
We wish all participants a meaningful learning journey ahead.
