Real Social Entrepreneurship
“A lot of the CCAs around say that they do entrepreneurship. But they don’t actually do real business on the ground.” - Jieyang, Former President of Enactus NUS
At Enactus, we get our hands dirty, implement the changes on the ground that we believe in and value add to the lives of the vulnerable and needy. Our projects may promote employment opportunities for vulnerable groups, or they may address basic needs in the community, such as the availability of cheap food for the low income. What they all have in common is the belief in making real changes to real people on the ground.Real skills
“Picking up soft skills such as problem solving, teamwork and management has allowed me to grow both as a person and a leader. I believe that I am now confident and more responsible having undertaken this journey with Enactus.” - Jing Guang, Vice-President, Enactus NYP
We give students the opportunities to develop real skills necessary in the workplace of tomorrow. Through their Enactus project journey, students learn to identify social market gaps, are given the space to devise creative solutions, and have the opportunity to pilot their solutions with real stakeholders.Real Support
“I feel that there is someone there to guide me whenever I face an obstacle.” — Jocelyn, Vice-President, Enactus NTU
Guided by mentors that are professionals in their own fields and our corporate partners, our students grow to be young leaders with a head for business and the heart for the world.
“So how was Enactus World Cup 2015? Unbelievable.” - Anushka, Vice-President, Publicity and Marketing of Enactus NTU and Singapore’s Social Ambassador at the Enactus 2015 World Cup in Johannesburg.
We celebrate the passion and vibrancy of youth in doing what is meaningful and what they love. From our regular common meetings to the pinnacle Enactus World Cup, at every level, it is our business to be real fun.Real development
“SIFE (now Enactus NUS) was the perfect platform to get a taste of the entrepreneurship world. It gave me the opportunity to dig my hands deep into a project, P&L, to manage within a working budget, to meet with top level executives and manage a team. Being armed with this experience and knowledge ultimately gave me the confidence to pursue my entrepreneurship dream.” - Junxian, SIFE (now Enactus NUS) alumnus and owner of Reedz Cafe
Our alumni have gone on to be successful young professionals and entrepreneurs. Many are thankful for the experiences they had with Enactus in giving them real personal and professional development.
